Whether you like tea, coffee, matcha, chai, cider, or even a warm cup of water, you can spice up any of these drinks with some fall flavors.
Try using a nut-based milk or oat milk to add richness and heartiness to your drink.
Add some fall flavor: apple, pecan, pumpkin, cinnamon, chai spice, nutmeg, cardamum, caramel, etc.
Enjoy your drink warm, not only as a way to survive the cold, but also as a yummy change if you normally have drinks iced.

During fall, keeping your ankles and feet warm is very important (no one wants to get frost-bite), but it can be done fashionably! Leg warmers come in many different styles and lengths - they can suit any fashion aesthetic! Stacked on tennis shoes and loafers, inside boots, or even hidden inside pants โ there are so many options! If leg warmers arenโt your vibe try boots! This season I just got some tall furry boots, which basically are leg warmers themselves. Boots with a wide boxy shape are always stylish when paired with a short skirt and tights. However you want to style them, boots and leg-warmers are a practical and highly fashionable way to stay warm <3

One way to romanticize fall is to listen to music that fits the season. Here are a couple of suggestions:

Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer
These Days by Nico
The Gold by Manchester Orchestra & Phoebe Bridgers

Fall has so many delcious flavors, that are relatively easy to incorporate into dishes. Here are some ideas for dishes to make!
Pumpkin/Squash pasta: so warm and hearty. Trader Joeโs pumpkin gnocchi or their fall inspired raviolis are a perfect cozy fall dinner.
Apples: they can be added into breads, salads, or eaten warm with cinnamon for a fresher take on fall.
Roasted vegetables - this is the perfect way to still have a nourishing meal, but still soak up all the earthiness that characterizes fall meals.
Soup! Chili, potato, chicken noodle, or any other warm and hearty soup is perfect for this time of year.
Fall salads - with apples, pecans, beets, and maybe even pumpkin seeds! There are many fall flavors that can be added to make a salad more autumnal.

Thereโs not much to say here. You need a fluffy blanket, not a little throw โ a BIG fluffy blanket. It will keep you warm physically, and most importantly โ emotionally.

Okay, this may seem like a weird one, but squashes are so beautiful. Every single one is unique with shape, color, and texture. They are so weird and strange, but in the same way as abstract art. Many grocery stores sell them around this time of year along with pumpkins. So, if you want a more artistic fall decoration aesthetic, maybe set the โperfectโ pumpkin aside for a gourd. They all have fun personalities and you can choose the perfect one for you.
*Also, my cat weirdly seems to like themโฆ.so you could also get one as a gift for your cat!

There are a lot of mainstream trends for hair and makeup for fall, so I thought I would share the ones that I think are the best!
Dying your hair darker (itโs so fun to change things up and have a darker aesthetic). Red-brown tones or even a little orange is really cute during the cold seasons.
Wearing a dark lipstick, really fun for the dark femenine aesthetic during the cold.
Blush on your nose (you may not need it depending on the weather in your area) but this can give you the effect of looking cold. It is super cute - and I love doing this all throughout the year, but its especially cute when its cold out. *My trick is to get a little of my lipstick on my finger and blend it on my nose*
There are also lots of lipsticks that are more brick orange or brown toned - these are very fun to experiement with to match fall tones.
Gold highlighter is super fun for this time of year, especially if paired with gold jewelry. This is the key to looking like a golden leaf in autumn.

Let comfort inform your style duing this time of year. Embrace layers and clothes that make you feel warm, happy, and confident. Especially when you are at home its always nice to have a few designated home outfits. Not the hight of fashion, but something you can wear at home and feel cute and warm. Also - this is a good time to wear some cute patterned pajamas, and maybe even some slippers.

If nothing else during this time of year, take a momentโฆand look around. While you are driving to work, notice the trees. Take a minute to enjoy the weather (I am so ready for it to not be 90* every day!). Notice the little changes that come with fall, because this is what really makes it feelโ โlike fall. Noticing the world around you can help to add mindfulness to your days and make you feel more grounded in nature, as well as the passage of time. Notice every day, and appreciate the differences between each day! Before the year ends, appreciate all the details.
